I think its all very frightening. I am wondering if perhaps they (those who want to get rid of medicaid) think folks who are disabled will leave Texas in Droves. All I can do is think of the Austin Lounge Lizards' song, "Go Ahead and Die" http://www.austinloungelizards.com/music-17.html
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, some of those who will not be going to a medical provider will be those who choose to skip medication for psychological issues, which can make them in many cases dangerous to the rest of us. Sounds like another case of inter-related things that prove the line "Nothing Is Simple--really"
